Date of last change (yyyy-mm-dd): 2024.12.06 1. TXT-LIST The information about the objects contained in the list is not single-line, but is written in a multi-level chapter. All multi-level chapters in the file have the same structure. Each chapter/subchapter can contain any number of data lines. An essential feature of the program is that it sorts, renumbers the chapters and indexes the entire list by the entire content. All our programs allow indexing and have a very useful interface that allows easy access to all-words index and further searches or navigation. The all-words index is accessible while reading, only by double-clicking on any word (full-text search). This interface and associated functionality are essential advantages over competing programs. Demo: http://www.txt-utilities.com/txt-index/demo_index.pdf In addition to internal links, the program also generates Google search phrases which also point to the web address of the user's choice. DEMO CASES Demo examples make it easier to understand how the program works, and especially show how simple it is to use. 2.1 Warehouse operations (WO) http://www.txt-utilities.com/txt-list/demo-wo/index.htm 2.2 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) http://www.txt-utilities.com/txt-list/demo-crm/index.htm 3. AUTOMATED REORGANIZATION OF LIST FILE AND CREATION OF INDEXED VERSION 3.1 Introduction The program enables efficient maintenance of various lists, provided that all records in one file have the same structure. The structure of the file is determined by the numbering of chapters and subchapters. Entering data is very easy, as it is completed as a TXT file. At each launch, the program updates and reconfigures the file and can also indexes the entire list by the entire content. The all-words index file is accessible while reading, just by double-clicking on any word. look_at: 5. 3.2 Who are the potential users The program is intended for users who use lists that contain an arbitrary number of chapters, but which have the same structure. Data entry is therefore tied to the predefined chapter structure. As a rule, users add new chapters relatively often, and after each addition, it is necessary to run the program to reorganize the content. The file with the input data is a *.TXT file, so the predefined editor in this program is NOTEPAD. The structure of the chapter is arbitrary, but it does not make sense to make it complicated, as this makes data entry more difficult. 4. NUMBERING AND RENUMBERING OF CHAPTERS The essential functionality of the program is to renumber the multi-level chapters by levels and indent them accordingly. The program first sorts the chapters by main titles, and then renumbers them in sorted order. Therefore, the initial numbering of the chapter and sub-chapters is not important, but it is important that the numbering used reflects the required same structure for all the multi-level chapters in the list. 5. CONVERSION TO HTML FORMAT AND INDEXING At the same time as creating a new TXT file structure, the program also creates an HTML output file. The HTML output list file can also be indexed at the same time. The indexed HTML file is programmatically renamed and copied to the HTM_NDX/HTM_OUT subfolder. Indexing an HTML file is optional and is performed by the EXTERNAL program htm_ndx_*.exe. 6. DATA SECURITY AND PROTECTION OF USER PRIVACY The program does nothing that could compromise data security and user privacy.
